Being overweight is def a different thing
Being overweight stings way more than being underweight, like who’s even arguing this? Both can be unhealthy, but only the overweights get judgment. Underweight ppl rarely face the same scrutiny. The bias is clear, so why’s this even a debate? Thoughts?

Skinny shaming is real, but it’s nowhere near as bad as fatphobia. There’s no such thing as skinnyphobia. Fat people struggle to find clothes that fit, they get rejected by job opportunities due to their weight, they’re often stigmatized, they face medical bias and negligence, as well as many types of discrimination, stereotypes, and they lack media representation that isn’t negative. The social and mental as well as physical consequences of being overweight far outweigh the bullying that may come from being underweight. Someone skinny may be told to “eat a burger,” but fat people are told to unalive themselves every single day. There’s a big difference.
