Do parents do this? This is so weird...

Last Saturday, I met my friend for brunch with her 2 year old son. We sat down and ordered pancakes and mimosas, and everything was chill until the food came.

She cut the baby’s pancake into bite sized pieces, then leaned in and gave him a big kiss right on the lips. I froze for a second thinking maybe it was a one time thing. But then, every time the baby handed her a piece of his fruit, she’d kiss his lips again. When he showed her a sticker he put on his hand? Another lip kiss.

By the third time, I was shifting in my seat, my coffee tasted weird all of a sudden. I didn’t wanna be rude, but it creeped me out so bad. Lip kisses feel like something for my partner, not for a little kid. Finally, I said: “Hey, uh… do you always kiss him on the lips?” She said: “It’s how I show him love, you just don’t get it.” Am I being weird? This feels so wrong, thoughts?

Baby’s need affection or they will literally die: your coffee tasted weird because you’re the one thinking creepy thoughts.

Nope. I kiss my baby on the lips, cheeks, forehead, toes, the list goes on. Moms love their babies. There’s nothing weird about affection ❤️

short, weird books to have a short, weird time
All of these books are less than 300 pages and two of them are under 200 👀 These books may not be easy reads, but they do go by fast! I love having short books on hand after finishing a longer series or even just for a break between bigger, heavier-themed books. That’s not to say that small book

“weird” things i do for my health
You know how sometimes you do something that you’ve grown so accustomed to that you don’t think anything of it? And then someone is like, wait, what are you doing? That’s kind of weird — or maybe not even weird, but just different and you realize that not everyone does it? So this is my list of

Growing up is honestly so weird. No one really warns you that it’s not this big dramatic shift…it’s just a bunch of little realizations that hit you out of nowhere. I’m turning 23, and lately I’ve just been noticing how different everything feels. ✨🦋 Friendships? They don’t always end wit
