LETS TALK ABOUT EPILEPSY

i recently got diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy, although i’ve been having seizures since i was 7 (i’m 22).

of course, this is a really scary thing and honestly life changing, but im doing my best to continue living my life as best as i can, trying not to stress about it.

has anyone else recently been diagnosed and wants to share about it? no one in my family has this except for me and i feel like we need to support each other as best as we can!

I’ve been having epilepsy since I was 2 and then it stopped after while and started having them again at 14 I’m 30 now still take medication for it it’s tough smh.

Last week was Purple Day! It's Epilepsy awareness!! I don't know how many know, but I was diagnosed 16 years ago, when I was 21 years old with epilepsy. I was in the Army at the time, and the general guess is that duplicate vaccinations may have been the cause, but nobody really knows! 🤷‍♀️
