We moved into our home a little over a month ago, and since then we keep finding so many bugs. We keep it clean, not a ton of furniture yet, vacuum regularity, etc. we’ve seen 3 stink bugs, and there’s a new spider in the living room corner almost every day. Sometimes two of them. It’s an old ho

Bug bite 😬 —update—

Not all itching or bug bites are the same. The time of day, location, and pattern of symptoms can reveal what’s really going on with your skin.   🕷️ Scabies → Intense nighttime itching caused by tiny mites burrowing under the skin. 🛏️ Bed Bugs → Small, red bites often clustered or in lines, us

A close-up shot of a small, oval, reddish-brown object resembling a seed, resting on the palm of a hand. The image has a text overlay that reads, "I found weird seed-like things everywhere."
Is this a bug infestation?
I’m losing it. First, a couple of these seed-looking things in the bathroom, then the kitchen. They’re small, oval, same front and back. They don’t move. But why are they everywhere? It looks more like seeds, and not a bug? In the past couple of weeks I just spotted 1 or 2 in a bathroom or kitchen.

Round bellies unite 💙🫶🏼
Here is the most “unflattering” angle of me I’ve ever taken. Except I don’t care because I’m here to show ya everythanggg. 💙 I get it, your stomach may be slightly bigger some days and I always see videos about how it’s your uterus and your organs and all is ok. But I’m also here to tell you

NOOOOOOO WTF I HATE WASPS/YELLOWJACKETS!!
Trigger warning for the literal HIVE of wasps under the porch in my backyard. I didn't believe my husband when he said it was getting bad, and this picture is AFTER one round of wasp killer. It's not even the only one under the porch. 😭 I hate them. Luckily, I have a boy to take care of the

Tired of annoying summer bugs?… Try this! 🪰
Keeping bugs out of my house during the summer is a constant battle, but I think I've finally found a system that works! One of my go-to solutions is the STEM Flying Insect Light Trap. I plug it in, usually near the kitchen or back door, and it quietly works its magic, attracting and trapping t

4 Essential Oils I Use to Repel Bugs
We do pest control every 3 months, but lately I’ve still been seeing way more spiders than usual. So I decided to make a natural essential oil spray to help repel them. A while ago I also made the spray for gnats. I spray straight on the soil and also around the plants, and it helped a lot. T
