Survivor
I survived things that would have sent most to therapy 🫵🏾 you will survive too #isurvived
Surviving tough experiences often feels like a battle against all odds. I've been through moments so challenging that they might have overwhelmed others, leading them down paths of deep despair or therapy. But what truly helps is recognizing the resilience within us and the fact that survival is possible — even when it seems impossible. One important lesson I've learned is the power of mindset. Accepting your struggles and understanding that healing is a journey, not a sudden change, can make a big difference. It’s okay to feel vulnerable and to seek help if you need it, but it’s also powerful to remind yourself daily that you are stronger than your hardships. Finding a community, like those who engage with the #isurvived movement, can provide invaluable support. Sharing stories, encouraging each other, and acknowledging that others have faced similar battles makes you feel less alone. I’ve found that expressing my journey openly—sometimes through social media or conversations—helps me process emotions and stay motivated. Additionally, small habits like journaling, meditation, or even physical activity can serve as anchors during difficult times. They provide a sense of control and a way to channel frustration and pain into growth. Remember, survival is not just about enduring; it’s about reclaiming your life and joy despite past hardships. If you’re going through something hard, know that you’re not alone, and the strength you need is already within you.
