I had never heard about the murders of the Einstein family until now. But, once I started reading this book, I could not put it down! This book was incredibly well researched and included a lot of information without making it dry or boring. My heart genuinely hurt for the surviving family members. I found it so disheartening that nobody paid for this crime. I can’t imagine how terrifying it would have been for the nieces to hear the gunshots and wonder if they were going to be next. Robert Einstein never truly recovered from the loss of his wife and daughters, so in my mind, the murderers are ultimately just as responsible for his death. I truly hope that, one day, the identity of the killers is known. I know it’s too late for any sort of justice to be served, but perhaps it will help bring peace to any descendants.
