is a single family owned horse Sanctuary in Ava, MO. Who take in rescue horses and have rescued many dogs from our area. We have 24 acres of mostly pasture.

We currently house 10 horses, one donkey, and a pack full of rescued dogs. 3 of our newest Rescue horses are permanent residents who are also still rehabbing back to health. Each has a story as unique as them. They all deserve a safe Forever.

We have been rehabbing and rescuing horses for over 10 years. We love the special case/ care horses.

Additionally, engaging in activities that the horse enjoys, such as gentle grooming or feeding treats, can enhance your relationship. Always remember that patience is paramount; respect their space, and never rush the process. Over time, you will develop a deeper connection and understanding of these beautiful creatures, enriching both your experience and theirs. By learning to approach with care, you not only improve your interactions but also contribute positively to the horse's overall well-being. This is particularly significant for rescue horses, who might have experienced trauma and require extra reassurance. Enjoy each step of this rewarding journey!
