Come along as I reimagine this piece

A table that had already lived a full life…

transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece filled with light 🌈

I started by sanding everything down and removing the old varnish.

Then I drew and carved false planks to add character and movement. After a brown stain, each plank was painted by hand using ten different chalk paint colors 🎨

A light sanding to reveal the wood in places,

a white glaze wiped by hand, and three coats of varnish later — the magic happens ✨

The result: a coastal-inspired table,

somewhere between Cape Cod and Nantucket —

exactly what my client Caroline had envisioned 💙
