Many Drinks

The ADHD urge to have three drinks was really strong earlier, so I made myself three drinks with electrolytes. The two brands I use daily are LMNT and Buoy, LMNT gets me to my minimum salt intake every day, while Buoy helps to supplement it. I made sparkling water using our SodaStream and some Bubly syrup, plus Buoy. And my normal water is raspberry LMNT and Buoy. Crio Bru is my favorite for cold days like today; I hate coffee, but this is chocolate. Crio Bru sells roasted and ground cacao beans for customers to brew like coffee, and it gives you energy WITHOUT caffeine, because cacao is naturally caffeine free, it has theobromine instead. I either make it as a pour-over or I make it in the Keurig (which they don't recommend, but it's the quickest and easiest way for me to make it), and in the summer I make it the night before, add sugar and LMNT, and put it in the fridge overnight so I can have iced Crio Bru without it being super watered down from brewing it over ice.

💌 Brands: LMNT, Buoy, Crio Bru

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10

Additional Tips: add sugar and/or creamer to your Crio Bru, it tastes like dark chocolate so it can be bitter!

... Read moreBeyond my core daily routine, I've found some amazing insights into why these specific drinks work so well for me, especially when it comes to digestion and overall vitality. Let's dive a bit deeper, because staying hydrated and feeling good is truly a game-changer! First, about sparkling water and digestion. I honestly didn't realize how much of a difference it could make until I started incorporating it regularly. For me, drinking sparkling water, especially with a meal or when I feel a bit bloated, really helps. Some studies suggest that the carbonation can actually help stimulate digestion and ease symptoms like indigestion and constipation. It's not a magic cure, but it definitely feels like it gets things moving more smoothly. Plus, that fizzy sensation can be super satisfying and makes drinking plain water a lot more exciting when I add a splash of Bubly syrup or some Buoy drops. It's like a mini spa treatment for my gut! Now, let's talk more about Buoy drops and what makes them so special, especially concerning brain health and digestion. The 'WHY DO I DOUBLE UP?' graphic on my drinks explains it perfectly – it's something I often get asked. For me, Buoy provides those crucial trace minerals that my other electrolytes might miss. While LMNT is my go-to for essential sodium, potassium, and magnesium to hit my minimum salt intake, Buoy really steps in to supplement with a wider spectrum of trace minerals. These aren't just for muscle function; they play a huge role in nerve function, which directly impacts brain health, focus, and mental clarity. I've noticed a significant improvement in my overall 'zip' and reduced brain fog since consistently using them. For digestion, Buoy's blend often includes ingredients that support gut health, which, as we know, is deeply connected to brain health. It's like giving my body a full orchestra of beneficial elements rather than just a few key players. It helps with nutrient absorption and keeps my gut happy and balanced. When it comes to Buoy drops ingredients, what I love is their commitment to clean, concentrated minerals. They often contain things like zinc, selenium, copper, and even some B vitamins, depending on the specific blend. These aren't just random additives; they're vital for countless bodily functions, from energy production to supporting your immune system. Knowing I'm getting these tiny powerhouses in my water makes me feel like I'm truly nourishing my body from the inside out. It's not just about quenching thirst; it's about optimizing my internal systems. And for those days when coffee isn't an option or I just want something warm and comforting without the caffeine jitters, Crio Bru is my absolute hero. Theobromine, found in cacao, gives you a gentle, sustained energy lift without the crash associated with caffeine. It's a different kind of alertness, often described as a more focused, calm energy. Plus, the antioxidants in cacao are a bonus for overall health. If you're sensitive to caffeine but need a pick-me-up, definitely give it a try! Just remember my tip: add a little sugar or creamer if you prefer a less bitter, more indulgent dark chocolate experience. It's a delightful way to support your energy levels and boost your mood without disrupting your sleep or causing anxiety.
