Weight loss journey update, I’m down 10.5lbs in 3 weeks. 🫶🏼🤭 It feels slow, but I’ve stayed consistent. I need to remind myself I didn’t pork on the pounds overnight and this will take time. On days I don’t want to work out, I force myself. On days I just want to eat whatever I want, I don’t. Days I didn’t see progress on the scale, I kept going. 19.5 more pounds to lose by middle of may to reach my first goal of 30lbs loss. I’ve been making little changes each and everyday to live a healthier life. #weightloss #weightlossglowup #glowup #healthjourney #selflove

... Read moreEmbarking on a weight loss journey can often feel overwhelming, especially when results seem slow or inconsistent. I've learned through my own experience that consistency and mindset are key to long-term success. For example, there were days I didn’t feel motivated to work out, but pushing myself through those moments helped build discipline and made exercising a habit rather than a chore. One important mindset shift I embraced was understanding that weight gain didn’t happen overnight, so it’s unrealistic to expect immediate results. This patience allowed me to stay committed even when the scale didn't budge. Eating habits also transformed gradually—I avoided giving in to cravings and focused on nourishing my body with wholesome, balanced meals rather than restrictive dieting, which helped prevent burnout. Tracking progress, not just through numbers on the scale but how my clothes fit and how I felt physically and mentally, made the journey rewarding. Setting realistic goals, like my target to lose 30 pounds by mid-May, gave me clear milestones to celebrate along the way. Lastly, self-love became a crucial part of my health journey. Accepting myself at every stage, appreciating small victories, and not being harsh about setbacks created a positive cycle that encouraged healthier choices. Whether you’re just starting out or hitting a plateau, remember that every effort counts and that making small, sustainable changes daily can lead to meaningful transformation over time.
