We will prevail #ChronicIllness #ChronicPain

... Read moreLiving with chronic illness means facing daily challenges that many people don't fully understand. One motivating lesson I've learned is that progress isn't always about grand leaps; sometimes, it's simply about showing up even when your body demands rest. Just like pushing yourself to go to the gym on days when you feel drained, managing chronic pain requires persistence and self-compassion. A phrase that deeply resonates with me is "You're not doing enough" — something many people with chronic pain have heard, but it's far from the truth. Our best efforts often go unseen. Recognizing the bravery it takes to keep moving despite the pain can be empowering. I've found that celebrating these moments, no matter how small, builds resilience over time. Creating a routine that adapts to your energy levels can help maintain progress without overwhelming you. For example, gentle exercises or stretches on difficult days can be more sustainable and just as impactful for your well-being. Remember, chronic illness may affect your physical limits, but it doesn't define your strength or spirit. Sharing stories and connecting with others facing similar battles reinforces that we are not alone in this journey.

What do you mean the normal amount of pain is none
Chronic pain or illness can really mess with your perception of what is normal or healthy. I didn’t realize I was this pessimistic about the possibility of successful treatment that miniscule improvements felt like as good as it could be 😅 #migraine #chronicmigraine #migrainedisease #

what chronic illness looks like
it’s always so hard to put into words what it’s like living with a chronic illness. it’s isolating and exhausting. but it also ignited a passion in me to raise awareness and remind those who are also suffering, that you are not alone 🤍 #chronicillness #youarenotalone #embracevulnerability
