Shooting for Daniel & Megan was a breath of fresh air that reminded us how the sweetest love stories are often the ones that have been growing quietly for years.
Since they met at church when they were young, there’s this gentle familiarity between them that you can’t fake — the kind that shows up in the way they look at each other, the way they laugh without trying, the way “being together” already feels like home 🥹
Rather than relying only on the obvious pretty spots, we leaned into the unexpected… and somehow that laundry corner just worked. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was real — and it became one of our favourite parts of the story because it felt so them: simple, playful, unpretentious, full of warmth.
And then Upper Pierce Reservoir gave us the most unreal sun — the kind you can’t plan for, only receive. That golden light wrapped around them like a little blessing and suddenly everything felt softer, calmer, more meaningful 🥺
We also had the cutest tennis set (and yes, we got a bit too excited and broke the tennis net in our enthusiasm 😭😂) but it was so worth it because the joy was overflowing, and those photos captured exactly that — young love energy, best-friends energy, the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt.
