This soup blends creamy gnocchi with a savory tomato base and hints of basil, making it a satisfying meal on its own or paired with a light salad. Another staple in my meal prep rotation is Shepherd's Pie. This hearty dish combines ground meat, vegetables, and mashed potatoes, creating a filling and nutritious option that reheats beautifully. Preparing these dishes in advance reduces weekday stress and helps me maintain a balanced diet without sacrificing taste. When prepping these meals, I recommend dividing portions into airtight containers to keep them fresh. Both dishes reheat well in the microwave or on the stovetop. Additionally, you can customize the Shepherd's Pie by using ground turkey or plant-based alternatives to suit dietary preferences. Meal prepping also opens doors to experimenting with new recipes and flavor combinations, saving money by reducing takeout and impulse food purchases. Ultimately, investing a little time on the weekends to prepare meals like Gnocchi Soup and Shepherd's Pie can free up your weekdays and promote healthier eating habits.
