This usually happens because yardwork, while not as intense as gym workouts, involves constant bending, stretching, and repetitive motions that can quickly tire muscles not used to that kind of activity. What’s interesting is how the mental aspect plays a role. If you’re not mentally prepared for physical work, or if it feels like a never-ending chore because it’s “the same damn thing every day,” it can make you feel even more exhausted. When I visit places like Canton, the yard often needs constant upkeep, so it feels like I’m stuck in an exhausting cycle. What helps me is breaking the work into smaller chunks with breaks in between, staying hydrated, and stretching before starting. Also, wearing proper footwear and sun protection in sunny places like Canton can keep fatigue at bay. I’ve found that focusing on the progress I make rather than the total workload makes the task more rewarding and less mentally draining. So if yardwork leaves you wiped after just ten minutes, you’re not alone. It’s a mix of physical demand, mental attitude, and environment.
