My parents 😨 hell.💦
"Wait, you can't change models alone in your 80s!?"
I'm really impatient if I don't know my parents' smartphone situation 🫣💦
With the "handmade anman" made in the video,
Today I went to my mother's house!
Actually, the other day, from the iPhone 8 that my 85-year-old mother used for many years,
I finally changed the model to a new smartphone.
However, I hit the "80s wall" there ⚡
Did you know that?
When you are in your 80s, there is a rule that you can not change the model by yourself (you need an attendant) in the same treatment as a minor!
My husband accompanied me this time, but...
From there it was "real hell" 🫠
Mom: I want to take over Line.
Mom: "I want to see Yahoo mail"
Husband: What is the password?
Mother:... "I don't know."
Even though my password is suspicious, I can not know my parents' password 💦 a big panic After all, it took hours for the procedure and my husband came home exhausted 😭
Parents' smartphone models are really weird, don't underestimate them!
Everyone of the same generation who is preparing for their parents' smartphone procedures from now on.
I learned from the mistakes of my family so as not to rush in case of emergency
We have compiled a list of preparations that you should definitely check before changing your parent's model.
Please save with the mark on the lower right and be sure to use it as a talisman 👇✨
⚠️ parent smartphone model change, mandatory confirmation list ⚠️
✅ various passwords (super important!)
・ Apple ID or Google Account Password
・ LINE password and registered email address
Passwords for frequently used apps (Yahoo, carrier email, etc.)
It's an iron rule to have your family write it down in a notebook or keep it in mind!
✅ name and required documents
・ In the name of the parent or family member (even if a power of attorney is required)
・ Do you have identification documents (My Number Card, etc.)?
✅ Accompanying Schedule
・ Be prepared to take a few hours and secure a day when your family can accompany you
✅ Can parents really use that device?
Can parents really operate the latest smartphone without a home button?
(My family gave up the iPhone and made it the same "easy phone" as my father!)
And after the model change was finished safely, there was another problem.
"I don't know how to use it" attack 😂
When I teach them, they get frustrated and start fighting, saying, "I told you earlier!"
This time we sent the second son (grandson) of a digital native high school student! 👦✨
My grandchild will teach me gently and crisply, and my mother is also overjoyed.
"It's about my parents, so I have to do everything."
You don't have to hold it alone.
Ask her husband to accompany her and let her grandson teach her how to operate.
Relying on your family while feeling sorry is also an important skill to live in a good mood in your 50s 🌱
