待ち合わせという何気ない行為が、年齢を重ねるとともにその価値を増していることを実感しています。私自身も50代に入り、家族や友人との物理的な距離や生活リズムの変化から、待ち合わせの機会が減ってしまいました。しかし、先日、病院帰りに夫と駅で偶然に会い、一緒に帰宅した瞬間がとても新鮮で心温まる体験となりました。 この経験を通じて感じたのは、「待っていてもらう」ことが実はとても贅沢で幸せなことだということです。若い頃は当たり前だった待ち合わせも、大人になるにつれ忙しさや生活スタイルで減り、その有り難さに気づきにくくなります。母が父を亡くし一人暮らしになったことで、待つことや待ち合わせる人がいない寂しさも、より一層リアルに感じました。 待ち合わせは単なる合流の手段ではなく、互いに時間や空間を共有し、心の距離も縮める大切なコミュニケーションの一つです。特に50代以降は、健康面や家族事情も含め、今しかできない時間の過ごし方を見直す良い機会だと感じました。 また、日常の小さな幸せに目を向けることの大切さも改めて実感しています。例えば、今回の豚肉とじゃがいもの重ね焼き料理のように、ちょっとした工夫で毎日の食事も楽しくなりますし、誰かとそれを共有できる幸せも感じられます。 待ち合わせの機会を増やし、「待ってもらう幸せ」を味わうことは、人生のクオリティを高めるひとつの方法だと思います。これからは積極的に家族や友人と会う約束をし、大切な時間を一緒に過ごしていきたいです。この気持ちを共有できる人も多いのではないでしょうか。ぜひ皆さんも、忙しさの中にもちょっとした待ち合わせの喜びを見つけてみてください。
