Menggunakan white vinegar dan garam halus sebagai metode pembersihan oven memang terbukti efektif, terutama bagi yang menginginkan cara sederhana tanpa bahan kimia keras. Caranya, campurkan cuka dan garam lalu oleskan pada bagian dalam oven yang kotor, diamkan beberapa menit lalu gosok perlahan. Saya juga menemukan trik merendam rak oven di bathtub dengan air hangat dan deterjen cair membantu melunakkan kotoran sehingga lebih mudah dibersihkan, terutama setelah penggunaan oven yang sering membuat lemak menempel. Dalam proses pembersihan, penggosokan secara melingkar juga sangat efektif, ini membantu memecah noda membandel lebih cepat. Untuk mencegah kotoran menumpuk lagi, saya menggunakan aluminium foil di bagian bawah oven yang sering terkena tetesan makanan. Untuk yang memiliki oven elektrik dengan fitur self-cleaning, penting diketahui bahwa pembersihan rutin secara manual tetap diperlukan agar performa oven tetap optimal. Saran saya, lakukan pembersihan oven setidaknya 2-3 bulan sekali dan selalu gunakan produk pembersih yang aman namun ampuh untuk menjaga oven tetap awet dan higienis. Pengalaman saya, oven yang bersih juga membantu dalam memasak makanan jadi lebih enak karena tidak ada bau atau residu menyengat yang menempel.
