cramps are ruining my life...

week 5 of my #10K training plan! today, i was scheduled to do a quick 2 miles today, focusing on speed. out of nowhere, cramps hit me like a truck and i had to turn around and head home 😮‍💨

anyone who menstruates knows how bad cramps can be...mine have gotten worse since i got an #IUD. has this happened to anyone else?

i'm usually pretty good with pain so i tried to keep pushing for an extra quarter mile or so after it started hurting, but the pain and discomfort was spiking my HE too much and i knew i just had to call it quits.

however, i'm SUPER happy with my mile time and HR for mile 1! it's amazing to see how much faster i'm getting and how i'm able to control my HR so much better than when i started 🤩

Although I don’t relate to the IUD, I’ve been working on my running too! We basically run the same pace and I have a big goal of running a marathon one day. For now I mostly run 1.00-1.20 miles whenever I have the free time during the week. But seeing this made me happy that someone else is in the same boat. You go girl!
