3 Villains after acne disappear!!!
Acne marks. Divided into
1. Atrophic scars
• What is caused by severe inflammation of acne (e.g., elephant head, pimple cysts) that reaches the true surface, causing heavy damage to the tissue and collagen in the area, as well as squeezing or thrusting acne. The more that triggers the surrounding tissue to become inflamed, the more the wound heals, the body can't repair the collagen, so the skin collapses into a hole.
• What it looks like: a basin or hole deep from normal skin level, divided mainly into three types:
O Ice Pick Scar: Peck hole, deep, pointed, like being drilled by ice (most difficult to treat)
O Boxcar Scar: Potholes, Clear Edge, Box-Like
O Rolling Scar: Pan basin hole, wide, wavy-looking skin
• Treatment Guidelines: Typical ointment is almost unhelpful because the skin structure is gone. It only relies on dermatologists, such as Fractional CO2, Erbium, Picosecond Laser, Subcission.
2.Acne Scar / Acne Marks (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation / Erythema)
• What's caused?: This one confesses to someone who likes to squeeze acne! These marks are caused by inflammation of the skin, so the body sends red blood cells and stimulates the production of melanin pigments to protect the skin.
• What it looks like: The skin is smooth, but it changes color. There are two main types:
O redness (PIE): caused by capillaries expanding after inflammation.
O black marks (PIH): caused by excessive melanin pigment after acne is lost.
• Treatment Guidelines: The easiest of all. Skin Care with Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Retinol, AHA / BHA, or if impatient, Redness / Blackness Reduction Laser, such as V-Beam, IPL, Q-Switched or Picosecond Laser can be used.
3.Embossed Scar / Keloid (Hypertrophic Scars / Keloids)
• What is caused by: In contrast to acne pits, this is caused by the body being "overworked" in the process of repairing the wound. There is an oversupply of collagen, often in areas of extreme tension, such as the front, chest, or back frame.
• What does it look like?: It's a convex lump, hard, pink or red. If it's Hypertrophic, the Scar will only convex in the original wound boundary, but if it's Keloid, it will grow larger than the original wound boundary and may itchy or sore.
• Treatment Guidelines: Do not go to the laser blindly because it may trigger a bulge. The standard method is to inject the steroid (Intralesional Corticosteroid) to cause the wound to collapse.
Guidelines for prevention (do it...Please!!!!)
1. Do not squeeze, sheep, or throttle acne: This is a spell that must be recited in your heart. Our hands are dirty and the pressure will tear the subsurface tissue, inflamed to ulcer under acne.
2. Hurry to treat acne early: Do not let acne inflammation spread to become an elephant head. The longer the acne inflammation, the higher the chance of acne pits or convex scars.
3.Apply Daily Sunscreen: UV light triggers darker acne blackness and destroys collagen, slowing scar healing
I'll find no warning!!!!!!!
