What is a media card? And why you should have one!

A media card is a content creator best friend in this online industry. My media card above is made for streamers but there is all different types out there for whatever you do.

Reasons you should have one:

- A media card is a great place for companies, game devs, or brands to see your info and possibly reach out to you for opportunities!

- It is a great source to keep up to date on your current stats, partnerships or affiliations.

What should be on a media card?

- Username! Put your username as it appears on your socials. So anyone can easily look you up to check out your content.

- What content you do. I have Horror variety CC cause that is what I do. By putting this on. A company that specializes in something will be able to tell if you are or are not a good fit for their product.

- About yourself. Put a small section about you and your content. By doing this you are able to let others get a feel for you.

- Current stats. While no one wants to admit the numbers games of being a content creator it is a real thing. Some brands will want specific size creators for their products.

- Viewership region. This is more a streamers thing. But by placing this international companies can see the size of your audience in that region.

- Current partnerships. Put these on here in case some brands that conflict know if you are with one. Also a way to show who all you are currently working with.

- EMAIL! This is so important make sure you have your business email on this so people can reach out to you.

Media kits can be found free on canva. Buy them off Etsy. Or make your own like I did. I hope this helps <3
