It’s always a highlight when you get one of the chase cards you’re hoping for. Beyond Gengar, I also got a fantastic Gastly, which is just classic Halloween Pokémon right there. Seeing these familiar faces always brings back a wave of nostalgia. Looking through my pulls, it’s cool to see the variety, even from just three packs. Besides Gengar and Gastly, I pulled a Cubone, which might not be ghost-type but definitely has a melancholic, slightly spooky vibe to its lore. Then there were the truly eerie ones like Dusclops and Dusknoir, plus the fantastically ghoulish Gourgeist. And who could forget Ariados and Hattrem? Each card, with its unique artwork, adds to the overall spooky theme. It’s not about pulling super rare, high-value cards with these packs; it’s about the joy of the hunt and the festive spirit. For anyone who collects these, or even just loves Pokémon, the Trick or Trade packs are a low-cost, high-fun way to engage with the hobby during Halloween. They’re perfect for sharing, trading, or just adding some themed cards to your collection. If you find some old "3 card pack" bundles from previous Halloweens, definitely open them up! You might be surprised by what you find. It's a different kind of excitement compared to opening a standard booster box, but equally rewarding in its own way. Even if you don't get the specific Gengar card you're hoping for, the sheer fun of discovering all the other cool ghost and psychic Pokémon like Haunter or Gourgeist makes it totally worth it.
