I just finished filming a 4-day event for @professionellehouse and… I’m honestly a little speechless.
Because 1.5 years ago, I was the woman who picked up a camera with no training, no course, no roadmap 👉🏽 just me, teaching myself through trial and error, driven by a love for storytelling, creativity, and capturing moments that matter.
I’ve been told more than once that videography isn’t really a lane for women. That men run it. But I kept showing up anyway.
And this past week? I was the videographer in a room full of powerhouse women — women who didn’t just see me working, but came up to me, acknowledged me, and poured into me. Some I had never met. Others I’ve admired for years. The compliments, the encouragement, the “keep going, your work is amazing” — it got to me. Because I do work hard. I do care deeply. And I really do love what I do. ❤️
Being behind the camera at the Professionelle Summit was an honour. But being in that space, surrounded by supportive women entrepreneurs and business owners, impacted me just as much.
I’m so glad I didn’t give up. And I’m even more grateful for the incredible women who trust me to help bring their visions to life. 🧡
