Nothing for the ‘gram here

If you’ve got 30-45 minutes to spare, and would like to seek a space to slow down in the bustling Orchard vicinity, go check out Museum of Hidden Objects and Feelings. 🤗

It’s a small pop up exhibit that explores loneliness in different realms and through some interactive exhibits. I enjoyed reading the heartfelt words of fellow Singaporeans share their stories through the exhibits and could definitely connect with some of them.

🫶 You will also get to write a letter to your 2026 self and I cannot wait to receive mine after my WHV ends in May 😌 So much to say to my future self!

Exhibit runs till 1 November at Scape. 💰$15 - #supportlocal

... Read moreVisiting the Museum of Hidden Objects and Feelings offers a unique opportunity to pause and connect with emotions many of us face but seldom discuss openly. The exhibit features genuine stories shared by fellow Singaporeans that deeply resonated with me. What I found especially impactful was the interactive section where you can select an emotion — such as guilt, loneliness, or shame — and reflect on how it influences your life before writing your thoughts and hanging them for others to see. I took some time to write a letter to my 2026 self, a moment to acknowledge personal growth and hopes, which added a hopeful and personal dimension to my visit. The exhibit’s setting in Scape makes it easily accessible in the Orchard area, providing a quiet refuge from the city buzz. For those looking to absorb a thoughtful and intimate experience, the Museum of Hidden Objects and Feelings creates space to feel emotionally shelled yet comforted by shared humanity. It’s a meaningful stop for anyone interested in emotional well-being and community connection. Don’t miss this chance to support local initiatives that encourage mental health conversations – entry is just $15 and the exhibit is open until November 1.
