🤍Church was sooooo amazing today. They sang one of fave songs( Jireh by Elevation Worship & Maverick City) and I was definitelyyyyy boohoo crying in that place😭. Those lyrics always resonate with me and remind me of how much God has brought me through. He has literally kept me through everything. every season, every hardship, and every uncertain moment.
🤍As I prepare to start a new chapter and new job it was great to reflect on how far i’ve come and just get centered to start a new role that i’ve worked hard for!

Stepping into the sanctuary today, it wasn't just about the beautiful melodies, but the entire atmosphere. The air was thick with anticipation, and as the lights dimmed and the band took the stage, you could feel a collective shift. The vibrant church worship service truly began with the first chord.
I always find myself drawn to the energy of the people on stage leading worship, their passion contagious. And looking around, seeing the audience participating – hands raised, heads bowed, some singing along with gusto while others, like me, were lost in quiet contemplation – it’s a powerful sight. The large screens displaying visuals and lyrics are such a blessing, allowing everyone to follow along, whether they know the song or not. It really helps you connect with the words, letting them sink deep into your spirit. The stage lights illuminate the scene in such a way that it feels sacred, almost otherworldly. This visual and auditory tapestry creates a truly immersive experience that goes beyond simply attending a service; it's about being part of a living, breathing praise scene.
Today, when they played 'Jireh,' it wasn’t just my moment of tears; you could feel the shared emotion ripple through the congregation. It’s in these moments, surrounded by a community, that I truly feel connected with God today. It’s more than just a song; it’s a collective declaration of faith and trust. This communal aspect is so vital. Knowing that you're not alone in your journey, that others are also seeking solace, strength, and guidance, amplifies the entire experience. It creates a sense of belonging and mutual support that is incredibly uplifting.
For anyone looking to find that same kind of spiritual grounding, I always recommend going in with an open heart. Don't worry about singing perfectly or knowing all the words. Just let the music and the message wash over you. Sometimes I close my eyes and just listen, letting the lyrics guide my thoughts, especially when I’m facing something big, like starting a new job or entering a new chapter. It’s like a spiritual refuel, a moment to surrender our worries and receive peace. I often find that focusing on the imagery in the lyrics, or even just the rhythm, can help me quiet my mind and truly engage.
Reflecting on how far I’ve come, through every season and hardship, in that church worship setting just makes everything clearer. It reminds me that even when things are uncertain, there’s a divine plan guiding us. The collective praise and the shared experience of lifting voices together can truly be a transformative force, helping you feel centered and equipped for whatever challenges lie ahead. It's not just a Sunday routine; it's a vital reset for your soul, helping you carry that feeling of peace and divine strength into the week. Taking a few moments afterwards to journal about what resonated with me, or simply sitting in quiet reflection, helps to solidify that spiritual energy and carry it forward, making the impact of the worship time last much longer.
