#skirt #lemon8challenge#zerogatekeeping I'm not joking when I say that I literally wore this skirt for my walkout to meet my artist Chris blinston on season 6 of Ink Master. If you don't believe me you can go look up the episode yourself. It was at the end of the second to last episode of season 6. I was on the last two episodes of the show for season 6 and my artist was Chris Winston. I wore this and a black crop top. I was super tan, had blonde hair and a four pack. basically almost a bull set of abs.
This was the year that I met my husband and it is crazy that I still have this skirt. This was like 2015. That is literally so wild. For those of you that don't know this show was on Spike TV but got bought out by Paramount and you can watch the show there.
I actually flew out for two seasons but only recorded for season 6.
I still use him as my tattoo artist to this day and he's a family friend now.
He is a wonderful artist who owns his own shop out of Coral Springs, Florida. if you ever want to go get work done by him.
I absolutely loved being on the TV show and thought this was a really amazing experience.
The show took place in New York City and at his tattoo shop down in Coral Springs.
I got a 35-hour back tattoo of a pin-up model on route 66

That skirt I wore during my walkout wasn’t just a fashion statement—it symbolized an important moment when my tattoo artist, Chris Winston, and I first connected. Even years later, I still hold onto the skirt as a reminder of that special time in 2015.
The show itself was filmed mainly in New York City, but a significant portion of my experience involved traveling to Chris’s shop in Coral Springs, Florida. He became more than just an artist; he ended up as a family friend who continues to work on my tattoos. One of my most memorable tattoos is the 35-hour pin-up girl on Route 66, a piece that tells its own story about freedom and adventure.
For anyone considering tattoos, I can’t recommend having a reliable and talented artist like Chris enough. It’s important to build trust with your artist, especially for large, detailed projects. The experience of being on Ink Master also opened my eyes to the artistry involved and deepened my respect for tattoo culture.
Looking back on the show airing originally on Spike TV, now available on Paramount, I feel grateful for the exposure and opportunities it brought. The balance of competition, creativity, and genuine human connection made it a uniquely rewarding journey. Wearing that skirt was just one small but memorable part of an incredible experience that shaped much of who I am today.
