For 19 years,
as a speech therapist, i work with many children
I've been involved.
I've felt it many times in that.
The same me,
involved in the same way,
The speed of change in children is truly different.

Parents involvement is important, of course.

子どもの言葉の発達には本当に個人差があります。私も実際に言語聴覚士として多くの子どもたちと関わる中で、一人ひとりの成長スピードが全く異なることを実感してきました。たとえば、構音の練習でも、短期間で上達する子もいれば、毎日根気よく続けて数年かけて少しずつ習得する子もいます。これは決して親の接し方の良し悪しで決まるものではなく、子どもの気質や環境、遺伝的な要素な ど多くの条件が影響しています。 私が大切にしているのは、子どもの「その子らしい育ち」を尊重し、比べずに見守ることです。子どもの発言や行動にすぐに結果を求めてしまいがちですが、焦らず、毎日の小さな関わりの積み重ねが成長につながります。そして、もし自分の子育てに不安を感じても、自分を責めすぎず、時には周りの専門家や支援者に助けを求めることも大切です。 また、子どもが「言うことを聞いてくれない」「おとなしすぎる」などの悩みを抱えるママは多いですが、これも一様ではありません。その子の性格や発達段階に合わせた声かけや環境作りを工夫することで、徐々に良い変化を感じられるようになります。 私自身も3児の母として、悩むことも多いですが、時間がかかっても焦らず見守ることで子どものペースで成長を感じられる喜びを知りました。子どものことで自分を責めてしまうママたちが、少しでも負担を減らし、心穏やかに子育てを続けられるよう願っています。ぜひこの記事をきっかけに、子どもの成長に寄り添う優しい視点を持ってみてください。
