Pros & cons of being a Content Creator full-time🫣

I would say everything in life has its pros and cons!! This job has so many amazing things about it and I am so happy that I took the leap to take it seriously because I truly do enjoy it. BUT that doesn’t mean there are some things that can be tough about having this job

āž•Pro – Making your own schedule. I get to create my hours for when I am working, which is one of my favorite parts of the job. Maybe I want a slower morning and to start working at 10am, but than maybe the next day I am ready to start work by 7am. I get to choose and I love that flexibly.

āž– Con – You really have to be self-conscious on create a structure. Like I just said, you do not have a set schedule and it is totally up to you. You have to make sure you are balancing work and life, and making plans for yourself for your work hours. You cannot slack off, you are the boss but sometimes you have to treat yourself like an employee. You might not want to do something, but you have to or you’ll get fired. You can’t get lazy!!

āž•Pro – You can be in charge of how much money you make. Of course, the more projects you take, the more money you will make! If you are not working, and not pitching yourself, you aren’t going to make as much money as you could be. If you are a hard worker, you can be making a really nice income each month from just creating content.

āž–Con – Payments may not always be when you want them to be. Some brands are really good at getting you your payment within the allotted time frame, but other can be a little more relaxed. And this does not benefit in your favor! You can do a job in at the end of June and hand it in, thinking you can use that money for maybe rent. BUT they don’t send it till you till August….well…now what? Its important to not depend on that income coming in just to be SAFE!!!
