One of the steepest public highways in North America — without guardrails.

The Bella Coola Hill is a steep, narrow section of Highway 20 that connects the Chilcotin Plateau to the Bella Coola Valley. This hill includes numerous tight switchbacks (sharp, steep hairpin turns) and descends over 4,000 feet (1,200+ meters) in just 20 km.
