Pokemon Birthday Theme with a Pokéball Cake
My son earned his eighth badge around the sun. For his Pokemon themed birthday party, I made a Pokeball cake and DIY cake toppers. The goody bags were themed for different Pokemon and held: notebooks, pencils, stickers, snacks, and a Pokemon card!
the cake was easy to make, too. Use a dome cake pan to bake a hemisphere (boxed cake mix works great). I frosted the cake with vanilla frosting, one half dyed red, and the black border is dark chocolate frosting. It’s one of my favorite cakes.
