没实力的时候,对谁都别太热情。。#独刚 #uncle dockong #dockong
In life, I have found that maintaining a balance between enthusiasm and self-worth is crucial. When you lack certain skills or resources—what can be called 'strength'—being overly enthusiastic or trying too hard to please others can backfire. People often perceive this as insincerity or desperation, which can reduce your value in their eyes. A lesson I learned was encapsulated in the saying, 'Your please is cheap in the eyes of others; your politeness is only true politeness when you have made yourself valuable first.' This means that genuine respect and appreciation come naturally when you have something to offer or a certain level of competence. Building your abilities, knowledge, and confidence creates a foundation where your enthusiasm is welcomed rather than questioned. It is like the difference between empty praise and heartfelt respect, which is earned through effort and achievement. When I started focusing on strengthening my skills before becoming too expressive or eager, I noticed people responded differently. My interactions became more meaningful because others could see the value I brought. So, if you find yourself eager to engage or please but feel it’s going unnoticed or misinterpreted, it might be a sign to invest more in developing yourself. Your politeness and enthusiasm will shine brightest when backed by genuine strength and self-respect.
