This kind of casual hiking is perfect for relaxing strolls, connecting with nature, or just having fun without overpacking or stressing about gear. In this adventure, I was definitely “that one friend on a random Tuesday,” embracing the spontaneous vibe and enjoying the moment without worrying about the perfect hiking boots. Don’t be afraid to try unconventional hiking gear if it keeps the experience lighthearted and enjoyable. Just remember to prioritize safety when the terrain gets tougher!

Hiking volcan Acatenango in Guatemala 🌋

This hike was definitely challenging 😅 total took about 9 hours, since i decided to do the volcan fuego hike right after getting to base camp. This is where you get to the closest point to see the lava at night and it was not easy at all! Probably the hardest part of the hike but well worth it.
