「大阪でエジプト展ってどこでやってるの？」「あべのハルカスの古代エジプト展、実際どうだった？」と気になっている人向けに、行ってみた体感で補足します。 まず会場に入った瞬間に“特別展感”が強くて、入口の大きな看板だけでテンション上がりました。展示は暗めの照明とスポットライトが多く、胸像やレリーフがすごく立体的に見えるタイプ。床にホルスの目みたいな投影があったりして、写真映えも狙える雰囲気でした（ただし撮影OK/NGはエリアで違うことがあるので、案内表示は都度チェック推奨です）。 見どころはやっぱり木棺・石棺まわり。色が鮮やかで、想像していた“茶色い古代”よりずっとカラフルでした。近くで見ると装飾の線が細かくて、「これ手作業…？」って娘と小声でざわざわ。ミイラ系は苦手な人もいると思うけど、私の場合は“怖い”より“当時の技術と信仰のリアルさ”が勝ちました。 個人的にいちばん足が止まったのはカノプス壺。ジャッカル、ハヤブサ、人間、ヒヒの頭部がそれぞれ違っていて、役割の説明パネルを読むのが面白いです。娘が学校で習った「鼻から棒で…」の話をしてくれて、展示の前で知識がつながるのが最高に楽しかった。親子で行くなら、先に軽く“ミイラ作り”“死後の世界”“ファラオ”あたりを話題にしておくと、展示の理解度が上がると思います。 所要時間の目安は、さらっと見るなら1時間〜1時間半、解説をしっかり読んで装飾品（スカラベの指輪や翼のペンダント、ビーズのネックレス）まで丁寧に見るなら2時間前後あると安心。パピルスの象形文字コーナーは、眺めるだけでも楽しいけど、読もうとすると時間が溶けます。 アクセス面は「あべのハルカス」なので、観光の組み込みやすさが強いです。展示後に同じエリアでごはんや買い物に流れやすいのも助かりました。大阪でエジプト展を探しているなら、会場・内容ともに満足度高め。暑い日や雨の日でも過ごしやすいので、予定が立てやすいスポットでした。
