To be sure, "the air we breathe is actually clean" is not just an hype.
Some machines are filtered, proven, verified, which means they can really be bragged (claim that they have that property).
Some machines can do it in theory, but they don't dare to check it. How do we know they can do it? (The right thing is that they won't claim it - which brands in the market will only claim what they are sure of, which is correct)
📌 1. What is the performance claim?
"Claim" means identifying the performance of an air filter to a specified standard, subject to independent laboratory testing or through standards certified by the organization, such as:
Dust removal (PM2.5, PM10)
Ability to filter bacteria and viruses.
Reduction of chemicals and volatiles VOCs
Odor reduction and toxic gases such as Formaldehyde

📌 choosing to buy an air filter. What should I see?
✔ have certification from trusted bodies → such as AHAM, UL, CARB, EN 1822.
✔ has a CADR value suitable for room size → high CADR value = fast air filter
✔ Supports HEPA or ULPA → must pass a test that indicates the filtering percentage.
✔ No ozone emissions → Verify that UL 2998 / CARB standards have been met.
✔ Supports VOCs and Chemicals → If you want to filter poison gas, choose Activated Carbon Filter.
