I’m frustrated
Lemon8 keeps removing my pictures and I have no idea why? In some I am fully clothed, in others I’m at the beach in a bikini. I see other peoples posts that are worse than mine but theirs are still there. I try to contact customer support but they don’t respond. To be honest I don’t know what to post anymore that won’t get removed. I’m very frustrated 😡
Dealing with content removal on social platforms like Lemon8 can be really disheartening, especially when you're unsure about the exact reasons behind the action. From my experience and what many users have shared, platforms enforce strict community guidelines that can sometimes be unclear or inconsistently applied. Even pictures that seem harmless—like photos in a bikini or fully clothed at the beach—may sometimes get flagged due to automatic filters or subjective interpretation by moderators. One frustrating aspect is the lack of responsive customer support, which leaves users feeling powerless. It helps to carefully review the platform's community standards and reflect on any possible elements in your photos that might trigger removals, such as nudity policies, suggestive content, or even background details. Additionally, some users have found success by adjusting their photo descriptions or tags to avoid certain flagged keywords. When appealing content removal, be as detailed and polite as possible, explaining why you believe your content adheres to the guidelines. Keep in mind that automated systems often handle initial reviews, so persistence may be necessary. Exploring user forums or groups where others share their experience might provide insight into what's currently triggering removals and ways to prevent it. Ultimately, adapting your posting strategy by diversifying content types—such as lifestyle captions, scenic shots without people, or other creative content—may help maintain visibility while reducing the risk of removals. Staying patient and informed while engaging with the community can enhance your overall experience and reduce the frustration linked with content moderation challenges.
