「道の駅みろく（みろく道の駅）」は、ドライブの休憩だけで終わらせるのがもったいないタイプの道の駅でした。私は“牛乳ソフト→パン→直売所”の順で回ったら満足度が高かったので、その流れで補足します。 まず外に出ている「牧場カフェ369」の看板と、名物の牛乳ソフトクリームののぼりが目印。初めてでも迷いにくいです。みろく牧場のソフトは、甘さが強すぎずミルク感が前に来るので、食後でもペロッといけました。暑い日は溶けるのが早いので、買ったらすぐ日陰へ移動するのが正解です。 次に施設内のベーカリー。焼き立てパンが並んでいて、トングが用意されているので取りやすい雰囲気でした。定番の「みろくの食パン」は、家に持ち帰ってもふわっと感が残りやすく、翌朝トーストにすると香りが立ちます。私はそのまま一口→軽くトースト→バター、の順で食べ比べるのが好き。フィナンシェなどの焼き菓子も一緒に買うと、おやつ用にちょうどいいです。 そして意外にテンションが上がったのがスイーツの冷蔵ケース。ロールケーキや「洋菓子屋のクリームパン」みたいな商品が並んでいて、甘いもの好きには危険ゾーンでした。ソフトを食べた後でも、家族用・お土産用に“持ち帰りスイーツ”を選べるのが便利です。 直売所は、季節の野菜・果物が中心で、タイミングが合えばブドウなども見かけます。ここは「今日食べるもの」と「配れるお土産」を分けて買うと失敗しにくい印象。讃岐うどん系のお土産も揃うので、県外の人に渡す用はここで完結できます。 最後に周辺の過ごし方。すぐ近くのみろく自然公園をセットにすると、子ども連れでも時間が潰せます。道の駅の建物は“煙突みたいな目印”に「みろく」の文字が入っているので、待ち合わせにも分かりやすかったです。次に行くなら、午前中に直売所→昼前にパン→締めに牛乳ソフト、の順でもう一回回りたいです。
