First day in Seoul

... Read moreStarting my first day in Seoul was an exciting experience filled with a mix of modern city vibes and traditional Korean culture. One of the most refreshing activities I tried was Pilates at a local studio named Pilates Grida, which helped me unwind after the long flight and adjust to the time zone. Seoul is known for its balance between bustling urban life and peaceful spots. After Pilates, I took a stroll through nearby areas, discovering coffee shops and street food vendors offering authentic Korean snacks. Being a city that seamlessly blends history with modernity, I couldn't miss visiting places like Gyeongbokgung Palace and the vibrant shopping district of Myeongdong later in the day. I found the locals to be welcoming and helpful, which made navigating the city much easier despite the language barrier. Using public transport such as the Seoul Metro proved very convenient, efficient, and budget-friendly. For anyone planning their first day in Seoul, I recommend starting with relaxation techniques like Pilates to boost your energy, then gradually exploring the city's cultural spots and tasting local cuisine. It’s also worth keeping some Korean phrases handy to enhance communication and immerse yourself more fully in the local experience.
