Had let myself relax

Got a little too comfy sitting at 188-191, so I’ve been getting my butt back in gear to get back down before my next vacation in a month to celebrate my nieces 3rd birthday and meet my new nephew! 🥰

At my biggest was I was 261.4lbs and my smallest I was 137lbs if I can get to 150-155 I’d be very happy! Though I’m comfy at 170-175!

One strategy that has really helped is setting clear, realistic goals around meaningful events. For example, aiming to reduce my weight before my niece’s 3rd birthday and meeting my new nephew has given me a personal deadline that keeps me accountable. I’m aiming to reach 150-155 lbs, which feels like a great balance between where I’ve been at my lowest and where I’m comfortable now. Incorporating lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes has been crucial. This includes mindful eating, regular physical activity, and addressing habits that caused weight regain previously. It’s not just about the diet but creating sustainable changes that support long-term health. I also find sharing my journey with communities using hashtags like #poundsdown, #weightloss, and #lifestylechanges motivates me by connecting with others facing similar challenges. While progress is sometimes slow and plateaus happen, focusing on small wins, like losing 7-8 lbs in just over a week, reinforces my commitment. I always remind myself that weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. Celebrating non-scale victories like improved energy and mood also keeps me engaged. If you’re trying to get back on track after a break, my advice is to start small, be patient, and find motivation in personal milestones. Tracking your numbers daily can give satisfying proof of progress, but remember to focus on how you feel overall, not just the scale. Embracing a balanced mindset and supportive community can make the difference in achieving and maintaining your goals.
