#mom #momtok We are just learning about colors before our feet touch the floor

7/7 Edited to

... Read moreAs a mom over 40, I've found that introducing colors to my little one before they can even walk is a magical experience. At this stage, babies are soaking up so much from their surroundings, and colors become an early language they understand. I like to point out vibrant objects in our home — like bright toys or colorful books — which sparks curiosity and helps develop visual recognition. It's also amazing how daily routines can be learning opportunities. During diaper changes or feeding times, mentioning the colors of clothes or foods teaches association naturally without pressure. To make it fun and engaging, singing simple color songs and using colorful flashcards can create moments of joy and learning. From my experience, being patient and observing my baby's reactions helps me know when they're ready to move on to naming colors or sorting colorful objects. This gradual introduction fits well with developmental milestones, even when they haven't started walking yet. I also love connecting with other moms in the 'momtok' community, sharing tips on nurturing early learning. Whether you're just starting or have been on this journey, embracing these small color learning moments builds a strong foundation for your child's cognitive and sensory development. Remember, it's not about rushing milestones but making everyday moments educational and fun. Early color learning before walking opens a world of wonder for your child and strengthens your bond as a mom.
