✨For my mid-tier runner girlies going through it🌸
I want to show up here, share my story in hopes that it helps one woman who feels invisible, be seen and know she’s not alone.
I also want to have fun, talk running and strength training. If that’s your vibe, let’s be friends!
As someone who has been running for a few years but doesn't quite fall into the beginner or elite categories, I truly understand the journey of a mid-tier runner. It can often feel like you're stuck in no man's land—no longer a newbie with all the encouragement that comes with it, yet not elite enough to feel part of the top-tier crowd. One thing that has helped me immensely is embracing strength training alongside my running routine. Integrating exercises such as squats, lunges, and core workouts has boosted my endurance, improved my form, and reduced injury risks. It’s empowering to feel stronger not just in legs but overall. Moreover, seeking out or building a community of fellow runners who share your experience has made a huge difference. Sharing stories, challenges, and victories helps combat feelings of invisibility. I've found social media platforms and apps helpful in connecting with mid-tier runners. Friendly chats, virtual challenges, and even casual meetups can turn running into a social, uplifting experience rather than a solitary one. Remember, every runner's journey is unique and valuable—including yours. Keep pushing, strength training, and reaching out; there's a vibrant community ready to welcome you.
