IRCC aclaró la interpretación del estatus part-time en el último semestre para el PGWP. Antes, algunos estudiantes podían enfrentar rechazos si cursaban part-time creyendo que era su semestre final y debían regresar un período más para completar una materia.

Desde el 11 de diciembre de 2025, IRCC reconoce que, si ese semestre estaba previsto como final, ambos períodos pueden considerarse finales, siempre que se cumplan las demás condiciones del permiso de estudios.
