It’s easy to run from our mistakes or keep them suppressed and I’m learning that the more I speak on them and allow myself to figure out what went wrong that I’ve entered my healing journey

However, I gradually realized that suppressing these experiences only prolonged my pain and kept me stuck in old patterns. Speaking about my mistakes—whether through journaling, conversations with trusted friends, or even just softly admitting them to myself—helped me gain clarity on what truly went wrong and why. This honesty became the foundation of my healing journey, reminding me that mistakes do not define my worth but instead serve as important lessons. Each time I embraced a mistake with openness rather than avoidance, I noticed a small shift: less self-judgment and more compassion. This process has taught me that healing isn’t about perfection but about growth, resilience, and self-acceptance. In this journey, I also found that sharing my experiences connects me with others walking similar paths. Healing becomes a shared human experience, not a solitary burden. Embracing my mistakes has been empowering—it creates space for transformation and a deeper understanding of myself. For anyone struggling with fear of failure or shame from past errors, I encourage you to start small. Pick one mistake, acknowledge it honestly, and reflect on what it has taught you. This can open the door to self-love and continued healing, proving that mistakes, when faced courageously, are stepping stones to a healthier self.
