Trying the viral treadmill exercise 🤍🫶

Life hack: put on reality TV while you work out so your brain is locked into the drama instead of counting minutes on the treadmill. 👀

I’m thinking less about the workout, paying way more attention to what’s happening on screen. Thank you @peacock and @bravotv for your service.

On today’s training to do list, we have a 5 mile easy run, but since the trails are still muddy from the snowstorm, no trail run today. 🥲

Instead, I learned of a great replacement (thank you to ChatGPT).

Do this workout instead:

• Speed: 3.5 mph

• Time: 45–55 minutes

• Weighted vest: full 10 lb

If the vest gets too heavy, take it off for the last 10 to 15 minutes.

If the vest feels too heavy, it's smart to remove it for the last 10 to 15 minutes to avoid strain. Since winter often limits outdoor trail runs due to mud or snow, a treadmill workout like this becomes a practical alternative. Setting the speed to a steady 3.5 mph simulates a light jog, ideal for maintaining aerobic fitness without overexertion. For motivation, I link my favorite gear and weighted vests on platforms like LTK, which has helped me stay committed. This combination of entertainment and weighted training has helped me prep for half marathons and even get wedding-ready with consistent indoor workouts. If you’re struggling to keep treadmill workouts interesting, consider this approach. Plus, housing your treadmill near a TV streaming reality shows like those on Peacock or Bravo is a simple life hack to keep your brain busy and your legs moving!
