The secret isn't just about getting French tips; it's about how you get them and how you maintain them. Here’s my personal guide to keeping those short Frenchies looking flawless, even when you're pushing your limits. First off, forget regular nail polish for your gym nails. It's just not going to cut it. My go-to is gel polish. It offers incredible chip resistance and a lasting shine that traditional polish simply can't match. If you need even more strength, consider dip powder. While removal can be a bit more involved, it creates an incredibly strong layer that can withstand a lot of impact and pressure, which is perfect for bodybuilders. Some even opt for very short acrylics, but I find gel or dip gives me enough protection without feeling too bulky. Key Application & Maintenance Hacks for Longevity: Length is Non-Negotiable: This is probably the most crucial tip. Keep your French tips *short*! Longer nails are simply more prone to breaking and getting in the way during exercises. Short Frenchies still look incredibly elegant and are far more practical for gym activities.
