Hot girl walk gone wrong (thanks, bee)

This morning, I woke up with one goal: Be that girl.

Not “reply all emails” girl. Not “5AM gym” girl.

Just “go for a short hot girl walk and reset my life” girl.

So I tied my hair. Picked a playlist (Laufey > therapy). Wore sneakers I found under my bed. Tote bag? Empty. It’s for ✨visual balance✨.

I left the house feeling productive and mysterious. Like I journal. Like I drink water. Like I have my CPF sorted.

7 minutes in, sun was perfect.

Void deck: peaceful.

I paused to take a selfie.

Lighting was elite. My face was behaving.

Then I heard it.

BZZZZZZZZZ 🐝

Turned around. Saw a bee.

The big kind. The kind that looks like it pays no rent but still starts fights.

I froze. It hovered.

I took one step. Bee also stepped (emotionally).

I started walking faster. Bee: let’s go.

I turned into the next block. Bee followed. Like I was its ex.

I ran.

Passed an uncle.

He didn’t even blink — just sipped his teh o and watched me suffer.

Hair: flying.

Tote bag: swinging like a threat.

Music: gone.

My inner peace: deleted.

I reached home panting, emotionally damaged,

with one bad selfie and a new fear of outdoor serenity.

Final stats:

Walk duration: 11 minutes

Bee encounters: 1

Witnesses: too many

Will I do it again: Only if the bee apologises

Anyway. Next time I need to fix my life, I’ll use Gemini

At least the lessons don’t involve flying insects.

... Read moreTaking a "hot girl walk" sounds like the perfect way to boost your mood and reset your mind — until nature has different plans. From my experience, carrying just an empty tote bag for aesthetics and a carefully curated playlist can instantly elevate your vibes, but don’t forget the one thing I overlooked: a fearless bee! If you're thinking of trying a hot girl walk yourself, here are some tips to keep your stroll smooth and enjoyable: 1. **Stay Calm if You Encounter Insects:** Bees can seem intimidating but usually aren't after you. Rather than panicking or running, try to slowly walk away and avoid sudden movements—they usually lose interest fast. 2. **Choose Your Outfit Wisely:** Bright colors and strong fragrances can attract bees and other insects. Neutral tones and unscented products may help you avoid surprise visitors. 3. **Bring Essentials Practically:** While an empty tote bag looks cute, packing water, a phone, and sunscreen will prepare you for whatever the walk brings. 4. **Enjoy the Moment:** Whether you nail that perfect selfie or end up running from a bee like me, remember that every walk has a story. It’s about the small wins and funny fails! 5. **Explore Guided Tools:** If you want to plan and fix parts of your self-care routine beyond walking, websites like evokoa.com can provide useful tips and resources for mental well-being. Remember, a hot girl walk is about resetting and reclaiming your energy. Sometimes that means laughter and unexpected challenges make the experience even more memorable. I’m already considering round two — this time, hoping the bee stays home!
