The reason you’re not traveling is:

Hot take: The reason you’re not traveling is….. you’re waiting for the perfect time, or for ____x.y.z.____ to happen or fall into place.

Before all The Keyboard Warriors come for me- I do know that travel is not possible for ALL families- there family situations, medical situations, financial situations that could prove to be ultimate barriers to travel.

But here’s the thing- There are MANY families that are putting self-imposed restrictions and conditions upon themselves that become the barriers. And I’m here to tell those families- You CAN do it! And the first step is……

Make the decision.

Once you decide you’re doing it and set a leave by date…. You can work backwards to gfigure out the steps you need to take to get on the road!

Make sure to like, share, and follow for more Worldschooling and family travel. And if you’re interested in 1:1 coaching to get you going send me a DM

... Read moreTraveling with family can often feel overwhelming, especially when weighed down by doubts and perceived barriers. From personal experience, I realized that the biggest obstacle wasn't external circumstances but the mental blocks we created ourselves. We kept saying, "We’ll travel once the finances are perfect," or "After the kids finish school," which indefinitely postponed our plans. The crucial step is making a firm decision. When we finally committed to a leave-by date, everything started to fall into place. We began breaking down the journey into manageable steps: budgeting carefully, researching family-friendly destinations, and involving our children in planning. This mindset shift transformed the process from intimidating to exciting. I found that embracing flexibility helped reduce stress. Instead of waiting for an ideal condition, we adapted to what was possible and looked for creative solutions, like homeschooling on the road through worldschooling. This approach has enriched our travels not only by expanding our children’s horizons but also by creating unforgettable family bonds. It’s important to acknowledge that some families face genuine limitations like health or financial constraints. However, for many, the real challenge lies in overcoming those self-imposed boundaries. Sharing experiences with other traveling families and seeking coaching or community support can boost motivation and provide practical tips. In summary, if you’re waiting for the perfect moment to travel, consider that moment may never come unless you choose it. Make the decision, set your timeline, and start planning today. The world is waiting, and your family adventure is within reach!
