Football cakes

Here’s how to make these adorable football mini cakes!

⁠

You’ll need...⁠

1 Box of chocolate Cake Mix⁠

Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions⁠

1 Tub of White Frosting⁠

1 Tub of Chocolate Frosting⁠

Green food coloring⁠

Piping bags⁠

Piping tips (numbers 3, 32, 18)⁠

Biscuit cutter or round cookie cutter⁠

⁠

Directions:⁠

1. Preheat oven to 350° F and prepare your cake mix according to box instructions. Spread out in a small baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.⁠

2. Using your cookie cutter, cut small circles of cake out. Enjoy the cake scraps for a chef’s snack!⁠

3. Dye ½ of your white frosting with the green food coloring and place green frosting into a piping bag fitted with a number 32 tip. Fill your piping bag fitted with a number 18 tip with chocolate fudge frosting. Fill your last piping bag fitted with a number 3 tip with your remaining white frosting. ⁠

⁠

4. Pipe green “grass” on each mini cake. Draw a football using your chocolate fudge frosting and create the laces using your white frosting. Repeat for each mini cake. Serve and enjoy!
