The phrase "You’re allowed to move slowly" is a gentle reminder that growth is not always linear. On my healing journey, I learned to celebrate small wins, no matter how modest. Sometimes just showing up for yourself, acknowledging your feelings, or taking a single step forward is a significant achievement. It’s comforting to know that slow progress is progress, and it adds up over time. I also noticed that moving at my own pace reduced stress and prevented burnout.
