Moving back to the countryside after years in the city has been a surprisingly refreshing experience for me. The air feels cleaner, the pace slower, and the small daily interactions more meaningful. I often reflect on conversations with my brother-in-law and family about the challenges of pursuing ambitions in the city versus enjoying a quieter, more peaceful lifestyle. Living in a simple home surrounded by nature reminds me that success isn't only about constant hustle—sometimes it's about accepting where you are and appreciating the present. It’s funny how we joke about ‘escaping’ to the village, but really, it’s about finding a place where you feel balanced and at home. For anyone wondering if returning to your roots means giving up ambition, I’d say it can be the opposite. It’s about prioritizing well-being and quality of life, and it’s okay to redefine what success means at different stages. And most importantly, being close to family and sharing everyday moments, like the banter and laughter we have about life’s ups and downs, makes it all worthwhile.
