Finding the “Dream” Wedding Venue ✨
A few months after our engagement, Mr & I started brainstorming the kind of wedding we wanted. He loves Bali and I love the sea, so we initially thought of having a destination wedding! We got soooo excited about the idea and instantly booked a trip to Bali to visit some venues.
We visited a few places that we really liked (pics 2 & 3)! Imagine walking down a floral aisle like in pic 1, with the ocean as the backdrop 🌊, an Indomee live station, and ending the night with fireworks 🎇
It was all perfect… until we reached the quotations — and that’s when it became a nightmare 😂💸 A Bali wedding was wayyy more expensive than we expected. Plus, considering that our friends and family would have to fly in and pay for accommodation, we knew it was beyond our budget. So we had to give up on our “dream” wedding 😔
Back in Singapore, Mr didn’t want a banquet hall surrounded by four walls, so his options became quite limited 😆 We visited a few places—Flower Hill, Fullerton, Parkroyal, Monti, 1-Atico… but he only liked Andaz, mainly because of the high ceilings, full-height glass windows, and pillar-less views. Some people love Andaz for the bright, glasshouse atmosphere in the day, but we preferred the venue at night when the glass walls beautifully reflect the chandeliers.
Throughout the planning process, there were days when I felt like I might regret not sticking to our dream Bali venue 🥹. But after our actual wedding day, I must say Andaz completely exceeded my expectations. With some thought put into the décor, I really loved how the venue turned out too ❤️
Besides the ballroom, a lot of our guests really loved the food that night (pic 5)!! I honestly wasn’t expecting a banquet menu to leave such an impression, but I was secretly very happy when everyone kept praising the dishes they had 🤭
All in all, Mr & I have zero regrets about having our wedding in Singapore at Andaz 💯
Let me know if you need me to share any other details about our wedding venue!

Congrats on ur successful wedding!! May I check what’s the quotation like for a bali wedding venue?
