Cycling from Yishun to Bishan

1/1 Edited to

... Read moreIf you’re planning a ride like mine from Yishun to Bishan, here are some tips for making the most of it. Starting near Yishun Dam offers a great introduction to Singapore's Park Connector Network (PCN), with well-maintained paths and scenic views. The route towards Bishan is surprisingly varied — you’ll pass through quieter reservoirs like Springleaf and Lower Pierce, where you can pause to appreciate the greenery and calm water. Bike rental options are available near Bishan Park if you want to explore without bringing your own bike. Bishan Park itself is a great spot to rest and enjoy local joggers and families enjoying the outdoors. If you rely on MRT, Bishan MRT is conveniently located near the park, making it easy to combine public transport with your cycling trip. Also, be prepared for some moderate elevation gains — my recent ride covered about 17 km with around 70 meters of climbing, taking roughly 1.5 hours at a comfortable pace. Bring water, wear a helmet, and enjoy your adventure through these diverse Singaporean neighborhoods and green spaces!
